This is a short but exciting safari and is one of the best cheap family safaris with an overnight stay at this scenic bird and rhino sanctuary, which is also a World Heritage Site. Enjoy two long game drives and spot the rich variety of wildlife in the park. Perfect if you don't have much time available and your on a tight budget.

Day 1: Morning pick up from your Nairobi Hotel or from the airport by your driver & safari guide, after which you depart for a very scenic drive down into the Rift Valley. Stop at the viewpoint to admire the views. You will arrive at the lodge in time for a buffet lunch. Your late afternoon game drive will encircle the park and will allow for plenty of game spotting. The park is home to a variety of animals, only with the notable exception of the elephant. Your game drive will also take you to the baboon cliff, overlooking the lake, where you can step out of your vehicle and enjoy the stunning views.

You will then return to your lodge in time for dinner. Spend the night at the Lion Hill lodge or equivalent.

Day 2: Early morning game drive to different parts of the park. After your breakfast, you depart for Nairobi. Stop along the way at Lake Elementaita. This is a small but beautiful lake and you can also visit a small eco tourism conservation project run by the local community. You will arrive back in Nairobi before midday.

Masai Mara - Cheap Kenya Camping Safari
